Ten “Top Threes”

As many in this community admit, I also love a good list. So the idea of choosing 10 topics and listing my top three in that category sounded easy. And on this third-to-the-last day of the March challenge, I was ready for easy. Then I spent way too much time going down rabbit holes to look at ALL the Top Threes for inspiration. I started with https://humbleswede.wordpress.com/ where I saw the first list (and smiled when I saw connections between his list and me!). I started a list of topics used by others. Soon this list was 30+ long and I only needed 10. So now I needed to do some revising. Then, once I narrowed it down to 10, I had to think of JUST three to list. Whew. This was harder than I thought. But a great brainstorming writing activity. I’m glad I did it!

This is awesome! I’ve been thinking of what do for my last slice, and this sounds like a great idea. I’ll start brainstorming now!

Because of Nathan, I’ve watched a lot of UVA basketball…their ACC game against NC State was hard on our hearts!

Sally, such a feel good list. I love that there is not a lot of crossover between what I would add to your categories because you “favorites” expand my world. The lilacs will be here before too long and I’m certain you will have fresh cut grass this weekend!

I like all that you share and feel blessed to learn more about each person as they share their favorite trios. I’m always wondering what to try next to get me out of my Starbucks comfort box, so now I have some new ideas! Thanks so much!

Pretty interesting list! Although, I bet this slice took you a ton of time and it sounds it would really make you think. I enjoyed this and wish you a Happy Easter!

So Fun, and I’m impressed that you made so many and then curated them down for us. Great categories. My favorite overlaps (you and me) are those Starbucks Turkey breakfast sandwiches, Princess Bride, and Storm King. Oh, and of course all the things you love to do with Aden!

Sally, such a fun list. I hadn’t seen the Ten Top Threes. I will probably save this for a Tuesday post some day. I like the ideas it can generate for more slices. When I see those awesome places you shared, you could write about so many things that happened there, so yes, I see it is a “great brainstorming writing activity.” Isn’t it fun to imagine how that list with Aden will grow and grow each time you see her?
